How frustrating to hear the sound of a fellow traveller bemoaning the food or culture of the nation hosting them; not because the food is incorrectly prepared or cooked but because it is different. Like trying to get a 4-year old to eat their greens it can be just as frustrating to get some tourists to engage in the local customs and at least 'try it'. ‘If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay home,’ stated the author James Michener and what we want to bring to people is local knowledge and expertise, advice on the best places to eat and drink, must-see sights and tips about general life in a country or city; as well as places to avoid and scams to avoid.
